Walt Disney World: The Walt
Disney World Resort, informally known as Walt Disney World or simply
Disney World), is an entertainment complex that opened October 1, 1971,
in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, and is the most visited such complex in
the world. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company through its division
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The
property covers 30,080 acres (12,173 ha; 47 sq mi), in which it houses
24 themed resorts, four theme parks, two water parks, and several
additional recreational and entertainment venues. Magic Kingdom is the
original theme park on the complex, and Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios (now
Disney's Hollywood Studios) and Disney's Animal Kingdom opened
throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
International Drive, commonly known as
I-Drive, is a major 11.5-mile (18.5 km) thoroughfare in Orlando,
Florida, United States, and is the city's main tourist strip.
I-Drive is located several miles
southwest of proper Downtown Orlando in the southernmost limits of the
city. The International Drive area serves a similar purpose to that of
the Las Vegas Strip as the core of the tourism area
with 1000's of
hotel rooms on both sides of the road.

Walt Disney World Resort. It is one of two Florida municipalities

Universal Studios Florida is located in
Orlando, Florida. Opened on June 7, 1990, the park's theme is the
entertainment industry, in particular movies and television.
Universal Studios Florida inspires its
guests to "ride the movies," and it features numerous attractions and
live shows. The park is one component of the larger
Universal Orlando Resort. In 2010, the
park hosted an estimated 5.9 million guests, ranking it the eighth-most
visited theme park in the United States.
About Port Canaveral,
Port Canaveral is a cruise, cargo and
naval port in Brevard County, Florida. It is one of the busiest
cruise ports in the world with nearly
2.8 million multi-day cruise passengers passing through during 2010. As
a deep water cargo port, it has a high volume of traffic.
